1. Stake out the 4 corners of the tent keeping the floor slightly taut. Make sure the tent floor is 'squared off'.
2. Unzip the mesh door and sit inside on the floor of the tent with the ‘ceiling’ of the tent on top of your head.
3. Place both trekking poles extended to between 125 cm and 130cm handle first into the tent in front of you. Insert one trekking pole tip into one end of the ridge pole.
4. Holding the ridge pole in one hand, raise it to ceiling, while sliding the handle of the trekking pole into position in the center of the side wall of the tent. The ridge pole needs to fit into the reinforced ‘pocket’ in the peak of the ceiling. There are Velcro tabs to secure the ridge pole in place & Velcro to hold the trekking poles in place near the floor of the tent.
5. Slip the second trekking pole tip into the other end of ridge pole and while still holding the ridge pole at the ceiling, slip the second trekking pole handle to its position.
6. Make sure ridge pole is centered in ceiling.
7. Step out of the tent and now stake out the fly tautly using tie out cords provided. The fly will not come all the way down to the ground. It should be 6 – 8 inches off the ground to allow air flow under the fly. (You may need to re-stake the floor to square it off and tighten it up).
8. There are additional tie outs in the center of both ‘foot box’ ends of the tent.
9. In a heavy rain or high humidity, the tent will have a tendency to stretch and sag a little. This is normal, You can extend the hiking poles a little to tighten the tent.
10.  For the Wedge, There are two zippers on the fly, one is sewn almost on top of the other.  One is for the fly, one is for the wedge.  Unzip the fly and zip down the wedge.  Place the awning pole in the pocket at the tip of the wedge, adjust the placement of the pole so that the wedge is taut.  There is a tie out loop with a line lock at the top of the pole pocket that will need to be staked out.  When you unzip the wedge, to close the tent, you will need to move the stake and use it for the regular fly.
