Repairs/Returns

 

 

Repairs
Tents in need of repairs will have to be mailed back. Tents MUST be clean.  If you ship a tent for repair that is dirty, it will be returned to you, at your cost, without being repaired.  All tents MUST be WASHED  prior to shipping for repairs. Shaking out the dirt does not count.  Put it in the washing machine.   State laws prohibit me from working on dirty items.  It's unsanitary,  & gets dirt in the sewing machines causing expensive damage.

Most repairs are free of charge - you just pay for the shipping.  Zippers generally just need new zipper pulls put on them.  There is never a charge for this.  If the zipper tape itself needs to be replaced, there will be a $30.00 charge for the labor.  Windows and door netting - generally it can be patched free of charge, if the entire window or door netting needs to be replaced there is a $30.00 charge for it.

THRU HIKERS If you are out hiking a long trail and your tent needs to be repaired, we can ship a loaner tent to you.  You will need to pay a refundable $200.00 deposit for the loaner tent.  Please contact us through the website, we will ship the loaner to your next town stop.  Please see the form above for details.  You MUST  wash the tent before shipping your tent in for repairs.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

Returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase.  All items must be in NEW condition, tags attached and free from odors.  Tents must not have been set up outdoors.  We will inspect all itmes before a refund or exchange is granted.
